Oct. 4 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Russian authorities have denounced that one of its military planes had to maneuver on Monday to avoid colliding with US drones in Syria.
As detailed by the deputy director of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the War Parties in Syria, Oleg Yegorov, the Russian military transport aircraft was involved in a supply mission.
“The so-called international anti-terrorist coalition led by the United States continues to carry out illegal flights of attack drones in Syrian airspace,” Yegorov told the media, according to TASS.
The Russian representative has denounced that this is not the first time that an incident of this type has been recorded, something with which the United States would be violating the provisions of the agreement on the prevention of incidents and the guarantee of aviation safety during operations in Syria.
