Mortal Kombat 1 releases its first trailer, shares release date and list of fighters

Mortal Kombat 11 is one of the most outstanding fighting games in recent years, along with Tekken 7 and Street Fighter 5. However, it is time to adapt to the hardware of the new generations of consoles. For this reason, the three aforementioned franchises will launch a new version this year.

Street Fighter 6 has been scheduled for release on June 2, Tekken 8 has not defined a date, but it is known that it will arrive sometime in 2023, while Mortal Kombat 1, the new title from NetherRealm Studios will debut on PS5, Xbox series X and PC on September 19.

As you can see, it does not bear the name of Mortal Kombat 12, since it is a reboot of the popular fighting saga. Thanks to this radical change in the plot, you will be able to explore new storylines in the campaign, introduce new characters and much more.

The developer company in its announcement did not save anything. Since we not only know that it will hit consoles in September, but the price of all editions is also known.

In the first trailer, a total change in the time in which the story takes place is already anticipated. Also, we can see that Scorpion and Sub-Zero, two lifelong enemies, are now brothers. All the stories we know will change.
