The Consul General of Morocco in Valencia, Said Idrissi, confirmed this Sunday the death of two Moroccan citizens due to DANA, which has caused serious flooding in Valencia.
“So far we have confirmed only two cases of deaths. The authorities are making a great effort to get rescuers to these areas,” Idrissi explained in statements to Channel 2 of Moroccan television.
Idrissi pointed out that they are working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy to send food and water. “We are also collaborating with civil society to provide them with food and water,” he explained.
