MADRID 19 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
At least thirty Palestinian civilians have died and more than 70 have been injured as a result of a new air attack by the Israeli Army against the Jabalia refugee camp, in the north of the Gaza Strip, WAFA has reported at the last minute. this Friday.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have bombed several houses near the Nassar crossing, killing 33 people, including 21 women, according to the Palestinian news agency, citing medical sources from Al Awda Hospital, located in the field.
On the other hand, at least two other people have died and a number yet to be determined have been injured in a subsequent attack by Israeli forces against a house located in the Maghazi field, in the center of the Strip. The attack has also left several missing in the rubble resulting from the bombing.
At least 42,500 people have died in the Gaza Strip, victims of the military offensive launched by Israel more than a year ago, in response to the attacks carried out by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on October 7, which left about 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped.
Furthermore, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health, linked to Hamas, the number of injured exceeds 99,500, although the authorities suspect that the number of victims is higher because there may be people under the rubble or in inaccessible areas.
Among the victims is the main leader of the Islamist group, Yahya Sinwar, who died during a combat with the Israeli Army. After his death, the international community hopes that dialogue will now be resumed for a ceasefire that will allow, among other things, the release of the hostages who remain captive in the Strip and the entry of humanitarian aid.
