More than 100 children and adolescents learned by playing in the summer workshops of the Art, Culture and Heritage unit


The first version of the summer workshops organized by the Department of Art, Culture and Heritage of the University of Atacama was a complete success. More than 100 children and adolescents signed up for free workshops on Dance, Theatre, Painting, Photography, Design, Arts and Sciences. In charge of professionals and artists of these disciplines, the classes were given at the University of Atacama from January 16 to 20.

With a closing exhibition, open to the entire community, this Friday the 20th, the incipient artists showed what they had learned through plays, choreographies, paintings, interventions and even a loquacious interview with the rector Forlín Aguilera.

It is the first time that these workshops are carried out, aimed at promoting the artistic and cultural talent of young people, boys and girls; and in light of the excellent results, Paola Rivera, Head of the Art, Culture and Heritage area of ​​the University of Atacama, pointed out that she hopes to replicate them next year, expanding the coverage of quotas and themes.
