According to Google, the service for storing photos and movies called ‘Album Archive’ will stop working from July 19, 2023. This means that some of the photos stored there could disappear.

Google Photos is a photo gallery application and cloud storage service developed by Google, which allows users to store, organize and share their photos. In addition, it is used by millions of people.
The app offers unlimited free storage for high-quality photos and videos. However, it must be borne in mind that the free storage limit is 15 GB shared by Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos.

After Google’s announcement, many users are looking for alternatives to be able to store their photos elsewhere and there are other options to save the photos similarly as Google Photos does.
One of them is One Drive, which just by selecting the option ‘upload from camera’, you can upload photos and movies to Microsoft’s cloud storage service.
One Drive has the particularity that it is in charge of automatically synchronizing the photos and videos in their original quality and in a space of 5 GB.

Another one of them is Dropbox, this application allows you to store any type of document ‘online’. It allows you to automatically create a backup copy of all images for security, which makes it one of the most recommended options.
Amazon photos is another option. The application is distinguished by allowing users to send an unlimited number of photos in its original quality. It is an ‘online’ storage service, so users can upload their photos to the app and access them from any device.

there is also Mega, an application known for the number of files that can be uploaded, downloaded and shared. It is also an option to sync the phone pictures or create a backup of them.
