Although we could already see it some time ago, they continue appearing photographs of a huge heatsink for NVIDIA with a size that occupies 4 slots. Rumors place him as a possible heatsink for a TITAN of the generation Ada Lovelacealthough there is also talk of the possible refrigeration solution that the NVIDIA RTX 4090 Tieven a possible prototype for the NVIDIA RTX 4090 which was ultimately discarded.
The new images reveal a heatsink with a strange design, in which graphics card pcb would be positioned parallel to motherboard, on one of the sides of this heatsink. It also has an unusual way of placing the connectors for the video output4 connectors divided between 3 DisplayPort and 1 HDMI located one above the other, and each approximately coinciding with one of the slots it occupies. This arrangement is because the graphics card plate would be located on this side that sticks more to the motherboard of the equipment.
For now It is not known if this heatsink will finally be used or is it a discarded prototype, since the design corresponds to a PG137 board of which there are no references at the moment, although it is not known if NVIDIA may be working on it for a future release.
