It was clear with the launch of the Intel Arc that finally we will have three image rescaling systems in this generation of graphics cardsone per brand, and while some games end up using only one of them, others are making efforts to adopt several of them.
Nevertheless, the remake of Resident Evil 2 did not have support for any of themwhich is why some modders have set to work to provide these improvements to the title, improvements that in themselves do not have to be essential for screen players, yes they can be key when it comes to improving the performance of other virtual reality mods.
This is also an important feat, since if a game is generally required to have one rescaling technique in order to implement another, in this case Resident Evil 2 does not have any of them, something that indicates that other games using the same engine could receive the same treatment.
Unfortunatelythe mod is not currently in a state where the developers believe it can be released to the publicso it can not be downloaded yet, but hopefully in the future we will see how this mod sees the light of day and we can use it in our virtual reality games.
