Promising to encourage college student participation in MLBB esports tournaments, this move will also provide a platform for students to showcase their talents and develop as esports players.
Mobile Legends Bang Bang forms an alliance with the Peruvian University Sports Federation (FEDUP)
“The inclusion of Mobile Legends in our national sports circuit allows us to capture the attention and participation of students. We believe that strategic play will allow our student athletes to demonstrate their abilities and skills, especially in a team play environment.
In addition, as the entity that governs university sports at the national level, we seek to promote educational and recreational values, training student athletes to become future professionals with a solid foundation in physical activity and sports science.”, commented George Francisco Palacios Marín, Coordinator of the Peruvian University Sports Federation (FEDUP).
For his part, Carlos Araujo-Lima, LATAM Business Development Manager of MOONTON Games, stressed that the objective of the alliance is to strengthen the development of eSports in the university community in Peru and promote MLBB through the activities of the federation.
This alliance also seeks to open new opportunities for stakeholders and strengthen the eSports ecosystem. Araujo-Lima stressed that the students who aspire to be professional players are talented young people who are passionate about the gamer world, and that they hope to accompany them in their training and development within the MLBB university community.
