The mobile phone accessories they are the accessory with which 40 percent of Spaniards risk the most, a few points difference from bags and shoes, a fact that highlights the importance of these elements as “form of expression and sign of identity“, according to the first ‘Report on trends in accessories for smartphones’, carried out by the Spanish company La Casa de las Cascas.

Although the ranking of reasons that encourage the change continues to be breakage or wear with 57 percent, aesthetics takes second place. Something similar happens if we look at the results of the reasons for using these accessories, where in the first place appears the protection followed by the preference for having a personalized and different mobile to the rest.

The perception of accessories for ‘smartphones’ as one more ‘fashion’ element is beginning to gain strength thanks to the wide variety of products, designs and, now, with the possibility of customization that allows them to be converted into unique and special pieces, being a differentiating element through which to enhance and express personality.
PERSONALIZATION AS A DIFFERENTIATING ELEMENT
The study reveals that more than half of those surveyed would like to have personalized accessories for their mobile phone, being, in this order, their preference in terms of designs: Photography (31.8 percent), names or initials (23.6 percent), beautiful or inspiring phrases (23.3 percent) and, in last place, a design or drawing made by themselves (21.3 percent).
Likewise, in a world where immediacy is rewarded, the exhibition admits a waiting time of between 2 and 5 days to have your personalized product. “At La Casa de las Carcasses we assume the role of accelerating this trend. Since our beginnings, we have had the clear objective of building a differential universe with content and quality around the mobile phone”, adds Javier Gonzalo.
In fashion, the concepts of uniqueness and uniqueness are reaching new heights.
