The 142 deputies of the opposition formed by the Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA), the Panhellenic Socialist Party (PASOK), the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), the far-right Spartans, the ultra-conservative party Greek Solution, have met the forecasts. the Christian fundamentalist Democratic Patriotic Movement Victory (Niké) and the left formation Rumbo a la Libertad.

Mitsotakis has intervened before his political rivals to present his government program. In response, the SYRIZA spokesman, Sokratis Famellos, who criticized that the ND victory “is not a victory for the social majority.”

Mitsotakis has responded to SYRIZA that they have lost the elections because “they have waved a scarecrow that does not exist” and has stressed that the ND deputies are “patriots of deeds, not of words”.

He has also announced a new law that will make it easier for all Greek citizens residing abroad to vote “so that they can participate in the political life of the homeland, wherever they are.” He has also stressed that he will apply all the reforms promised in his program and that they have received the endorsement of the population’s vote.
