Mistral AI models will be integrated into devices powered by Snapdragon chips

Qualcomm has announced the incorporation of Mistral AI’s artificial intelligence (AI) models to equipment powered by the semiconductor firm’s processors.

The collaboration between both companies will allow the integration of Mistral AI models designed specifically for use in terminal devices, such as Ministral 3B and Ministral 8B, as reported in a statement.

Ministral 3B is an efficient 3 billion parameter model, supporting a 128,000 token context window and enabling agent workflows. For its part, Ministral 8B, with 8 billion parameters, is the most powerful Mistral for devices, offering a response window of 128,000 tokens and excels in tasks that require reasoning.

These models will be integrated into mobile devices powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite, but also into vehicles powered by Snapdragon Cockpit Elite and Snapdragon Ride Elite and AI computers powered by Snapdragon X Series.
