Build A Rocket Boy, a studio led by Leslie Benzies, producer of the Grand Theft Auto series and former president of Rockstar North, has announced the development of MindsEye, a story-driven action adventure. The title will be available through Everywhere, a platform that “blurs the line between the real and digital world” and whose release for PC is scheduled for this year. Later it will debut in other formats.

MindsEye “is a high-octane, triple-A, story-driven action-adventure game set in a world of futuristic corporations, conspiracy theories, and sinister new technologies,” says Build A Rocket Boy. Beyond the official description, we can say little more about the title, which has been presented with these spartan lines and a first teaser trailer that does not reach 30 seconds of footage. MindsEye has no date and it is unknown what it will be like to access the game through Everywhere.

Regarding Everywhere, a project announced in Summer 2022, is described as “a new platform that offers a world of infinite possibilities, where you can be the one to choose and forge your own path.” The title promises to offer a vast open world where players can enter new worlds and new experiences. “Everywhere is a place where everything is undiscovered and imagined…everywhere belongs to Everywhere,” says Build A Rocket Boy.

VideoGamesChronicle has had the opportunity to visit Build A Rocket Boy and see a presentation showing Everywhere. The platform consists of a social hub called Utopia that offers access to a series of biomes and districts, each of which features different gameplay and crafting options. Players can create their own experiences using the in-game tools and share them online or use the creations of others to complete their scenario. Build A Rocket Boy claims that his project has nothing to do with Web3 or NFTs.
