Miko Senri’s Yonimo Kahogo na Maо̄-sama Manga Ends in December

The manga titled Yonimo Kahogo na Maо̄-sama (which translates to Spanish as “The most overprotective demon king in the world”), written and illustrated by Miko Senri, says goodbye to its readers in December of this year. The news was revealed in the December issue of the magazine Bessatsu Friend of Kodanshawhere it was published that the series will end in the next January 2025 issue, which is scheduled to release on December 13.

Since its debut in October 2023, this manga has become increasingly popular. The growing attention it receives may be due to its story of romance and fantasy that moves between the everyday and the supernatural.

The plot of Yonimo Kahogo na Maо̄-sama follows the life of Seina Yamada, a high school student who, due to certain personal circumstances, lives alone and supports herself financially thanks to her part-time job. Her life changes drastically when, one day, when she was about to become a victim of a scam, a mysterious demon king appears to save her.

This powerful character not only rescues her, but also reveals to her that she is the reincarnation of a saint and demands that she move in with him, which the protagonist has no choice but to accept. This unexpected coexistence marks the beginning of a series of events that lead Seina to deal with the clash between her human life and the peculiarities of living with a supernatural being that protects her in an exaggerated way.

The story of Yonimo Kahogo na Maо̄-sama It is very interesting and entertaining because it is a mix of drama and comedy, where the demon king “protector” constantly tests Seina’s independence and patience. Furthermore, the relationship between these two protagonists is very different from the typical dynamics of romantic mangas, presenting an unusual coexistence that gives rise to comic, tense and emotional situations.
