Microsoft will forever change the Windows 11 lock screen

Page Lock Widgets Windows 11

One of the most underrated screens in our Windows 11 operating system is the lock screen, which features a series of select MSN widgets.

Most of the time we ignore these lock screen widgets, but perhaps what you didn’t know is that Microsoft will allow us to practically customize this page to the maximum so that you can start taking advantage of it.

It should be remembered that the widgets on the lock screen Windows 11 and Windows 10 are available to everyone, but we have very little control over them today.

But as reported in Windows Latest, Microsoft plans to add a feature that will allow us to choose what appears on the lock screen, including the ability to edit these widgets.

This will allow us to choose if and how only the MSN weather widget appears, and it also looks like there will be an option to hide some of them.

This feature is not available yet but there are certain references in build 27747 that points to a later public preview.

So a future version of Windows 11 24H2 would allow us to edit and manage lock screen widgets, thus giving users a new screen to include some of their favorite applications.
