Microsoft ha Updated the user interface of your Xbox Cloud Gaming service in the web to add some functions that, until now, were only available on Xbox consolesas is the case with group chats, a notification inbox, a section to manage friends and the possibility of viewing achievements.
The video game company intends bring the facilities and experience of Xbox Cloud Gaming on console closer to users who use the service on a computerwith new functions for web version in supported browsers, as well as for Xbox app for Smart TV and the Meta Quest virtual reality headset.
In this sense, Xbox has begun testing the beta version of the new web interface, which features a design very similar to that of the Xbox Cloud Gaming platform on the console, and includes a Main guide divided into four sections, such as the start, the one of friends, the one of messages and he user profile.
Specifically, in the home section the new interface allows users continue directly with the last game which they were playing. In the same way, it offers a list with all recently played video games and allows you to see the achievements achieved.
Furthermore, as the video game company has pointed out in a statement on their Xbox Insider updates blogfrom this home section users will also be able to start groups with friends outside of games, as well as continue group chats between game sessions. These chats offer options such as limiting access to the group by invitation, muting some participants, or adjusting the overall volume.
This option was previously possible in the web version while playing a title, however, Now you can chat in group conversations continuously and without depending on whether you are playing or not. This is a function that It is only available for Xbox Cloud Gaming on the web and in the Meta Quest headset.
There has also been introduced a bell-shaped notification buttonfrom which users will be able to stay informed of any news on the platform, whether about video games or activities of friendly users.
On the other hand, the friends section includes functions such as tab to find and manage accounts of friends of the service. In the messages section, users can send messages to other accounts on the platform and finally, in the profile tabthey can manage profile photo, status and other settings from account.

At the moment, the redesigned interface and new features for the web version have been implemented in Xbox Cloud Gaming in its latest beta update (version 2405.240408-2200), which is now available to users who are part of the Xbox Insider program, within the most advanced test group, Alpha Skip-Ahead.
