Microsoft accuses Sony of giving false information to European regulatory authorities about Call of Duty parity

Now according to has indicated Frank Shaw, sony has been informing the authorities in Brussels that Microsoft “is not willing to offer them parity of Call of Duty” if they acquire Activision Blizzard, to which he has responded that “nothing is further from the truth” and has referred to the contract offered to Sony.

“We have made it clear that we have offered Sony a ten-year contract to give them parity in time, content, functions, quality, gameplay and any other aspect of the game”, has sentenced the director of Communications of Microsoft through Twitter.

In this sense, he stressed that the company is “happy” that this agreement to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation can be reflected through “a contract, regulatory agreements or other means.” In addition, he has stressed that Sony is the “console market leader” and that It would “defy business logic” to exclude PlayStation gamers from the Call of Duty ecosystem.

For all this, he has transmitted that the objective of Xbox is bring Call of Duty and other games to “more people around the world so that they can play where and how they want”.
