() — Mexico will host a trilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in December, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said on Tuesday.
The Mexican president, also known as AMLO, made the announcement in Twitter after a phone call with his American counterpart.
In his Twitter post, AMLO described his conversation with Biden as “cordial” and that the two discussed topics ranging from migration to security to development cooperation.
Earlier on Tuesday, AMLO had referred to the December trilateral meeting in his daily news conference, saying he hoped to confirm the summit in his subsequent conversation with Biden.
Mexico did not confirm where the meeting will take place, or on what dates in December.
