In this edition of the Tianguis, 96 activities were organized for experts in the tourism sector who seek to professionalize their work and increase the quality of their services, in addition to conferences and exchanges to highlight the impact of women in the tourism sector, sustainable tourism or the importance of Mexican artisan hands, among other topics that improve the experience of visitors.
And in the last six years, 56 new Magical Towns were named and the Magical Neighborhoods strategy was created to diversify the tourist offer, since these generate 300,260 jobs and annual income of 197,300 million pesos. Among the main objectives that the Magical Towns and Neighborhoods have, are: Discover culture and traditions, taste and spread local cuisine and discover and explore unforgettable landscapes.
