Do you follow the ways of Rockstar Games? konami could follow the Grand Theft Auto formula to put the saga back Metal Gear Solid in trend. We are not referring to a new game, but to the sale of a package of three remastered games, as Rockstar Games already did with GTA San Andreas, GTA Vice City and GTA 3, which was called Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy.
Rumor has it that this pack will be called Metal Gear Solid Classic Collection and will offer the experience of the first three games in the franchise, but with remastered graphics and mechanics. Do you think Konami will revive this saga?
Jez Corden, a journalist for Windows Central, shared a report indicating that the Japanese company intends to hit the video game industry with this collection of classic titles in the saga.
When would Metal Gear Solid Classic Collection be announced?
The strange thing about the information is that it would only be announced in June and not during the PlayStation Showcase in May. Sony would not miss the opportunity to announce the return of one of the most iconic sagas in the industry.
The package would have three video games according to reports: Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater. This could be the opportunity for the saga to make the leap to other platforms like PC.
Let’s remember that Sony has already given the green light for several of its exclusive games to take the PC gamer market by storm, such as Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War and The Last of Us Part 1 was recently enabled for download.
