31 Jan. (Portaltic/EP) –
Goal has announced a new type of exclusive space, limited to members, in Horizon Worlds with which developers can create unique experiences for their community, which can be tested by a group of selected creators.
Horizon Worlds is the Meta application dedicated to social experiences in virtual reality (VR), in which users can create worlds or explore existing ones, and do so with friends or other members of the community.
The company has announced the alpha phase testing of the spaces limited to members only, with which it seeks to give developers “autonomy to grow and moderate their own communities”, as reported in the oculus blog.
This closed experience allows to offer “a selected experience” to a community of members, that the developer selects manually, such as a book club, the presentation of your work portfolio or special content for VIP followers.
During the trial, selected developers can onboard a maximum of 150 global members and 25 visitors simultaneously. They have control over who enters and set their own standardsetiquette and social rules”, which will be at the base of the moderation tasks.
These members-only worlds will join public worlds of Meta Horizon Worlds as creation options.
