Meta rolls out signup with account verification in the US for Facebook and Instagram

Goal has launched this Friday its verification system in the United States, which allows access to the badge and additional protections with the payment of a monthly subscription for their social networks Facebook and Instagram.

The verification system announced by the technology company in mid-February is now available to US users of Facebook and Instagram, as announced by the CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, and collected by the media analyst matt navarra.

Zuckerberg points out that this system grants verification badgebut also offers protections against identity theft and direct access to customer service.

As already anticipated in February, the cost of this subscription is $11.99 per month (about 11.18 euros) or $14.99 (about 13.98 euros) if purchased through the iOS application, and is primarily aimed at content creators.
