Meta is testing a new streaming platform called Super

It seems that Meta is testing a new streaming platform, designed specifically for influencers, which would come with the name “Super”a nondescript name that we hope is little more than a place holder in order to find a more appropriate name for the platform.

IN any case, this streaming platform will allow influencers to earn money from their live broadcasts, in addition to allowing them to chat with their users and carry out live activities, basically the same thing that we can find on platforms like Twitch. Nevertheless, Meta has started testing the platform with wallet in hand, paying some users up to $3,000 to use the platform for 30 minutes.

As we read in TechCrunch, Super is an isolated experiment, about two years oldcarried out by Meta’s NPE (New Product Experimentation) division, which is a division in charge of testing new business ideas in the form of products that users can use. This platform is currently being tested with a small group of less than 100 creators.

The platform works with a tier system in which viewers must pay to access the features included in the stream, in addition to allowing viewers to leave tips for creators, which will be fully transferred to them.
