Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are ready to start their new project for Netflix, the leading streaming platform in today’s entertainment market.
According to Page Six, the pair have hired Oscar-nominated leftist director Liz Garbus to helm their Netflix documentary series. This partnership with Garbus is part of the program that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been working on for over a year as part of their multi-million dollar deal with the company.
Garbus was seen in the background with the couple last September during their trip to New York with a small camera crew secretly following them. The Sussexes’ three-day trip to New York included a stay at a luxury United Nations Plaza apartment owned by powerful lawyer Barry Bloom.
The director is openly political. Her Instagram account urges for abortion rights in the wake of the repeal of Roe v. Wade by the American Supreme Court.
