The XV Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean, which will be held until November 11 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, will include the participation of representatives of governments, United Nations and intergovernmental organizations, academia and civil society, in particular women’s and feminist movements. The main theme of the meeting is “The care society: horizon for a sustainable recovery with gender equality”.
The Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean, which this year celebrates its 45th anniversary, is organized by ECLAC, as the Secretariat of the Conference and, since 2020, in coordination with UN Women.
