The ‘Ursa Major’, part of the Russian Defense Ministry’s operations, sank on Monday due to an explosion in the engine room, after which fourteen of its 16 crew members were rescued and transferred to the port of Cartagena, while the other two remain missing.
“The Norwegian flag ship ‘Oslo Carrier 3’ refused to take on board Russian crew members of the ‘Ursa Major’ who were drowning in the Mediterranean Sea,” Medvedev said in a message published on his Telegram account. “This cannot be forgiven,” he threatened.
Medvedev has further reiterated his calls to “punish Europe through all available means”, including “political, economic and hybrid” measures. “We must help any destructive process in Europe,” said the former Russian president, who maintains a very hard line regarding the invasion of Ukraine and relations with the European Union (EU).
“Long live those responsible for aggressive pogroms in its historic streets (in Europe). Glory to the migrant gangs who commit atrocities and destroy the rainbow of European values. Let the vile thugs of European bureaucrats disappear in the flow of futures civil confrontations”, has been settled.
For his part, Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Peskov stressed that “if assistance was not really given to those in danger at sea, it would be contrary to all maritime laws,” according to the Russian news agency. Interfax. “It is an outrageous act that deserves total condemnation,” he concluded.
The Oboronlogistics company, dependent on the Russian Ministry of Defense, stated on Wednesday that it considered the explosion to be a “terrorist act”, before detailing that “three consecutive explosions” had been recorded that caused the ‘Ursa Major’ to tilt until it sank. .
