Some time ago we saw the 17-inch XMG laptop to which a curious system of external liquid cooling. A system that we have been able to test in our laboratory with the PCSpecialist Recoil 16which offered optional liquid cooling for the laptop. With a similar design, the Chinese brand Mechrevo has also launched new models with this curious cooling systemto keep cold 14th generation Intel Core top of the range that they carry inside.

These laptops are priced at 20,000 RMB (about 2,595 euros) for the version with the Intel Core i9-14900HX along with the NVIDIA RTX 4090. The version with the NVIDIA RTX 4080 It costs 15,000 RMB (about 1,946 euros). External liquid cooling can be eliminated to save 1,000 RMB (129 euros to change).
