“The Israeli occupation army has committed a cowardly murder of the mayor of Nuseirat and a group of citizens, bombing them directly from planes in the Nuseirat camp, which is considered a war crime in violation of international laws, which grant immunity and protection of civilian figures,” reads a statement from the press office of the Gazan authorities.
In this sense, he noted that “this crime is considered a new episode of the crimes of the occupation” against the “Palestinian people, which has affected all sectors in a deliberate and previously planned manner.” “The occupation aims to create a state of chaos, multiply the humanitarian crisis and prevent the provision of municipal services to citizens and displaced people,” they stated.
“Al Maghari, considered a service official who preferred to fulfill his national duty and provide service from the first moment and without interruption to the population of the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the Central Governorate, throughout these days of genocidal war , was loyal and dedicated to his work and to the service of his people and his country,” they stressed.
