The outgoing CEO of Indra, Ignacio Mataix, received a remuneration of 1.5 million euros for the performance of his duties in 2022, 6.88% more than the previous year, while the president of the technology company, Marc Murtra , won 595,000 euros, 73% more, because it is his first term in a full year.

The other executive director of the firm and general director of IT, Luis Abril, has received 894,000 euros when he arrived at the position after the departure of Cristina Ruiz last April, according to the remuneration report published before the National Commission of the Market of Securities (CNMV) this Wednesday.

Ruiz received a total of four million euros after agreeing to leave the firm. This figure corresponds to his salary until April, 1.8 million euros in compensation and another 1.8 million euros for his non-competition clause, in addition to 16,000 euros in accrued vacations.

Likewise, the former executive president of the firm, Fernando Abril-Martorell, who left the company in May 2021, has also received 1.16 million euros as compensation accrued for the non-competition agreement.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

Mataix’s salary is made up of a fixed payment of 644,000 euros and another 744,000 euros in short-term variable remuneration. In addition, it has received options to acquire 72,455 shares of the firm on a deferred basis after meeting 114% of the objective set for the year.

For its part, April’s salary consists of 406,000 euros of fixed salary and 413,000 of short-term remuneration, as well as 52,988 financial instruments exchangeable for shares, after meeting the equivalent of 80% of the total objective in just over seven months. who has been in office.

In addition, Mataix has received a contribution of 424,000 euros to his long-term savings plan and Abril, 73,000 euros. The company qualifies in the report sent to the CNMV that this plan is not equivalent to a pension plan and the executive director only has the right to receive it when he turns 62, with which Ruiz resigned after leaving the company.

In addition, executive directors also receive life and health insurance and a remuneration associated with the use of a company vehicle.

In total, Indra directors and former directors have received 9.2 million euros, counting compensation, while the firm’s senior management has received just over 8.2 million euros, 20.3% less than in the previous year .

On the other hand, the average remuneration of the staff has been 32,000 euros, 14.29% more than in the previous year.
