The Russian authorities of the Crimean peninsula have reported this Friday morning a “massive attack” by Ukrainian drones that, despite having been “repelled”, has caused a power outage in the city of Sevastopol, and so far no victims have been notified.
“I thank our military, who have successfully repelled a massive enemy attack on Sevastopol. Dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and more than five unmanned vessels have been destroyed. According to the service Sevastopol emergencies, there have been no victims,” the governor, Mikhail Razvozhaev, reported on his Telegram channel.
After this, he explained that the electrical failure was caused by the fall of the remains of a drone on part of the infrastructure of the city’s electrical substation. Emergency teams have gone to the facilities after the end of the attack and have already begun repair work.
