MasOrange reduces the impact of the ERE to 695 people and improves compensation and exit conditions

MADRID 10 Oct. () –

MasOrange has reduced by 100 people the impact of the employment regulation file (ERE) initially proposed for 795 workers, that is, up to 695, which represents a decrease of 12.6% compared to the original figure, as reported to Europe Press on sources familiar with the negotiation.

The telecommunications company has also presented to the unions in the sixth meeting of the negotiating table, meeting this Thursday, a new improvement in the ERE compensation that it presented at the beginning of last September and that now contemplates 33 days per year worked, with a limit of 24 monthly payments.

The new proposal has also included improvements in early retirement from age 57 to age 62.

In this context, this is the second reduction of those affected by the ERE that MasOrange proposes to the unions, after last October 2 it reduced them from 795 to 745 people.

There is still one meeting of the ERE negotiating table, not including this Thursday, which will be held on October 15, coinciding with the half-day strike called by CCOO, UGT, USO, ELA and CGT.

The negotiating table is made up, on the part of the unions, of five representatives from CC.OO., four from UGT and another four from the Independent Trade Union Confederation (Fetico).

RELOCATION PLAN

Likewise, last week the company offered a relocation plan for the now 695 affected by the ERE, which will not have a time limit.

Specifically, this plan will be aimed at 100% of the people who subscribe to it, it will have no time limit and will be managed with a Manpower company called Right Management.
