The year 2023 never ceases to amaze. Gamers have already enjoyed great titles on consoles, such as Hogwarts Legacy, One Piece Odyssey, Atomic Heart, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom, and other triple-A titles. However, there are still a few games waiting to be released. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will come to PS5 on October 20 and promises to compete against the big titles seeking the GOTY or Game Game of the Year award.
Recently, PlayStation along with Sony and Insomniac Games shared a new extended story trailer for the Spider-Man sequel. Let’s remember that it is the continuation of the 2018 game, but that it also connects with the plot of Miles Morales.
Both characters are now in charge of monitoring the streets of New York, a city that has become a favorite for classic comic book villains. The plot begins with the arrival of Kraven, the hunter, who seems to be looking for a mysterious prey.
Both Peter and Morales must face this situation, but they did not count on the appearance of a strange black substance that begins to merge with Parker. In this way, the black-suited Spider-Man who has new powers is born; he not only uses his web, but is able to shape parts of his body for combat.
Little by little, Mary Jane begins to worry about the attitude of Peter, who is affected by this black substance, and asks Morales to intervene. Everything seems to indicate that in the end Venom separates from Spider-Man and takes his own body, although the appearance of Eric Brock has not been confirmed.

Who is Kraven?
Kraven the Hunter, whose real name is Sergei Kravinoff, is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He first debuted in The Amazing Spider-Man #15 in 1964, and was created by writer Stan Lee and penciler Steve Ditko.
He is known as one of Spider-Man’s most relentless and persistent villains. He is a Russian-born big game hunter who becomes obsessed with defeating Spider-Man, whom he sees as the ultimate trophy hunt.
Kraven is known for his hunting and combat skills. He is often shown using a variety of weapons, traps, and tactics to hunt down his prey. Additionally, thanks to a mystical elixir, he possesses superhuman strength, speed, and stamina, as well as an extended lifespan.
