Pokemon Masters EX originally debuted (without the EX) in 2019 and continues to receive a lot of content. In fact, the title is celebrating its 3.5 years on the market and to celebrate it is giving away a lot of content and adding some of the best and most powerful sync pairs in the game.
As you well saw in the Pokémon Presents at the start of the week, the developer DeNA and The Pokémon Company also prepared surprises for Pokemon Masters EXthe franchise game with 3v3 battles for mobile.
Month after month, the game receives content and on the occasion of this new celebration in conjunction with Pokémon Day 2023, it is giving away thousands of jewels, the most difficult currency to obtain in the game, which is necessary to recruit new characters.
In total, between gifts and social campaigns, users can get up to 10,000 jewels for the various bonuses that will be in progress during these days (not counting jewels for completing daily or event missions).
Also, the game is giving away up to 100 draft tickets if logged in for 7 days within the next month, which means players can recruit up to 100 sync pairs (there will be repeats).

Marnie, Hop, and Bede came to Pokemon Masters EX with fabulous outfits
What can you use these jewels on? Well, the second Neo Champions event has just begun in the game, which is characterized by presenting trainers with a special Pokémon and outfits for the occasion.
This edition is led by the 3 young people from Galar Marnie, Hop and Bede, who this time will pair up with the powerful legendary birds of that region: Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno, in that order.
First to debut (which you can already find in-game) is Marnie, whose outfit matches the colors of Moltres de Galar and who looks adorable. But not only that, but she is also the most powerful Dark-type sync pair and even one of the most powerful units overall, so we highly recommend getting her.
Tomorrow Hop & Zapdos from Galar will debut, which are characterized not only for being an interesting Fighting-type technical unit, but also for their outfit, since they pay tribute to their brother, the unbeatable Leon (or not so unbeatable).
Finally, at the end of the week, Bede & Articuno de Galar will be available, a Psychic-type unit specialized in supporting the entire team.
If you don’t like any of these couples, don’t worry, there are many more banners. The banner of Leon & Charizard, Emma & Crobat, Anabel & Snorlax is also available, as well as that of Diantha & Shiny Diance and Lysandre & Volcanion. The last 4 sync pairs are part of the Kalos villain arc, but hurry, they’ll be gone in the next few days.

If you don’t know about the game and you are just starting, we recommend using your jewels in the strongest pairs. our overall recommendation is Marnie & Moltres, Hop & Zapdos, Lysandre & Volcanion, Diantha & Shiny Diance. We also recommend you play the events of the main legendaries story to get Giovanni & Mewtwo, Silver & Ho-Oh, Zinnia & Rayquaza, Cyrus & Palkia, Ghetsis & Kyurem, Professor Sycamore & Xerneas, Protagonist & Solgaleo, Hop & Zamazenta, as well as Professor Oak & Mew.
Also, please be aware that a very unusual distribution is in progress and allows players to choose their favorite Champion to add to their sync pair collection. On this list are the 6 Champions Cynthia, Lance, Alder, Iris, Diantha (with Gardevoir) and Steven.
There are a ton of additional events available, plus the option to redecorate the Trainers’ Lounge has just been added, a minigame where you can go on a date with Pokémon Trainers. Thanks to this, you can now purchase posters with art from previous loading screens and even plushies of your favorite trainers, including Cynthia. As if that were not enough, and many more events are coming. One of them is the continuation of the villain arc, which has already starred characters from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos, so the next featured region will be Alola and it is estimated that this will happen in April.
Something that has amazed this game is that it has made unpublished remixes of the themes of the original games. Below we leave you with a selection that the community chose as a favorite (part 2 will come later). A CD with this music was not released, but only a very few units were produced for an exclusive draw in the United States and Canada, as is customary for The Pokémon Company.
