A few days ago Nintendo 3DS owners were surprised to receive a new update for Mario Kart 7, a title that had not received anything similar in 10 years. Now, more details have just been shared about what the content included.
As you surely remember, this installment of Mario Kart It was launched in December 2011 and its last update was 1.1 in May 2012. It was last December 16 when it received the 1.2 patch and it raised many questions about it.
Now, and after a week of the arrival of this update that supposedly “helped to solve several problems to improve the gaming experience”, some dataminers have shared more details about what it offered.
According to the information shared, the main purpose of update 1.2 was to modify elements related to online play, as it was confirmed that changes were made to the network code.
