( Spanish) — An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 was recorded this Sunday morning in the Pacific Ocean, near Central America and Colombia, reported the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
According to USGS, the movement was recorded at 8:48 am (Miami time), at a depth of 10 kilometers and was located 673 kilometers northeast of Puerto Amuelles, Panama.
So far there is no tsunami warning, according to the US National Weather Service Tsunami Warning System.
