During the week of June 22 to 28 This year the IEPS for Magna gasoline will be 5.86% and diesel will be 6.24%; Premium gasoline still does not receive the stimulus, according to what was published this Friday in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF).
This is the second week in a row that regular gasoline has received government aid, and the first for diesel after five weeks without a subsidy.
With the subsidy, consumers will pay 5.8131 pesos per liter of gasoline instead of 6.17 pesos, and 6.3629 pesos per liter of diesel instead of the full fee of 6.78 pesos. For regular gasoline, which continues without the stimulus, the IPES fee is 5.2146 pesos per liter.
The federal government applies the subsidy to IEPS of gasoline and diesel to avoid inflationary pressures.

This Friday the national average price of a liter of Magna gasoline is 23.69 pesos, of Premium 25,268 pesos and a liter of diesel is 25,332, according to PetroIntelligence.
