These are a type of invisible watermarks that were developed in collaboration with other companies in the sector, such as Google, OpenAI, Microsoft, Adobe or Midjourney, and through which the “Imagined with AI” label was incorporated in the publications of Meta platforms.
When will the changes be reflected in Meta?
Mark Zuckerberg's company announced that these new contextualization measures will begin to be reflected starting in May of this year and in July they will stop eliminating content based only on the 2020 policy, in order to give time to understand the process of self-labeling your products.
All those companies or advertisers that run any type of campaign with visual elements generated or manipulated with AI technologies must also include a notice detailing that they were made from this technology.
On the other hand, Meta said that they will continue to delete all posts, regardless of whether they were created by AI or by a person, if they violate their Community Standards, working in collaboration with the network of independent verifiers.
