The Ukrainian city of Lviv has suffered this Tuesday new attacks by Russian forces whose main objective has been the infrastructure of the electricity grid, which has caused cuts in supply that threaten to extend to other basic services as well.

The governor of the region, Maxim Kozitski, has confirmed on Telegram at least three explosions in two energy facilities and has asked the population to take extreme precautions.

The mayor, Andriy Sadovyi, has stated that 30 percent of the city was without electricity this Tuesday morning, while there have also been cuts in the water supply in several neighborhoods of this city.

The mayor, who has confirmed that at least one person has been injured, has urged citizens to collect some water in the face of the risk that the situation will not be normalized in the next few hours, to the extent that already on Monday there were problems as a result of the first attacks.
