The president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, plans to travel to Russia this Thursday to meet with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in a visit that will last until Friday, as explained this Wednesday by the Belarusian authorities.
“The president will make a working visit to Russia. On April 11 there will be a face-to-face meeting with Putin,” indicated the press office of the Belarusian Presidency, which noted that the leaders plan to address bilateral cooperation between both countries. and issues of regional and international relevance.
In addition, they will participate in an event dedicated to World Aviation and Cosmonautics Day, scheduled for Friday, and will hold talks on the possibility of implementing measures to “counter current threats”, especially as the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The presidents will analyze the results of the mission sent to the International Space Station and discuss the prospects for cooperation in the space sector, among other issues.
