1. Access to the Portal: Enter the website of the National Registry of Civil Status at https://rcenlinea.registraduria.gov.co/

3. Select the Service: Look for the “Citizen Services” option and select “Digital Civil Status Registry”.

5. Fill in the Data: Complete the required fields, including the document holder’s full name and identification number.
6. Payment: Make the corresponding payment of $17,000 through the available methods (PSE or consignment).
7. Reception of the Document: Once the payment is processed, you will receive the digital copy of your civil registration in the email you provided. You can also download it directly from the portal.

What is the digital certificate of civil status?
It was created with the purpose of providing the service of issuing civil registration certificates through the use of ICT in accordance with the articles 5 and 6 of Law 2052 of 2020 and by virtue of the provisions of Article 110 of Decree 1260 of 1970.
“This certificate is presented in three forms: birth, marriage and death. The information is extracted from the Civil Registry Information System (SIRC), the database produced and managed by the National Registry of Civil Status”, indicates the site of the Registry.
