Logitech G has announced the arrival in Europe of its G Cloud game console for cloud gaming through streaming platforms such as Xbox and Nividia, where it will be available from May 22.
G Cloud offers a cloud based gaming experiencemaking it possible to stream games from your console or a PC using the Xbox app, Steam Link, or other local streaming services from the Google Play Store.
Fruit of the collaboration between Logitech G and Tencent Games, this ‘hardware’ presents a 7 inch LCD touch screen with Full HD (1080p) resolution with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a refresh rate of 60hz.
Powered by Qualcomm chip Snapdragon 720G and a battery with a duration of up to twelve hours, in a body that weighs 463 grams, and offers 64GB of internal storage.
It also includes the virtual button mappingwhich allows all physical controls to be assigned to points on the screen, and greater sensitivity and customization of the thumb sticks, as the company details in a press release.
Likewise, G Cloud is Supports Shadow Cloud Computing technologywhich enables the use of G CLOUD to run a fully virtualized computer through the Shadow PC application.
“With Shadow PC, G Cloud users will enjoy the freedom of having access to a powerful Windows PC on their portable device, with no closed game catalog, with the ability to use mods, enjoy non-game apps and much more,” said Shadow’s director of marketing and sales, Jérôme Arnac.
G Cloud will reach the European market, including Spain, next May 22, with a recommended price of 369 euros. On the occasion of its launch, Logitech G in collaboration with its partners, has created a special package of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (three months for existing users and six months for new users) with Xbox Cloud Gaming, one month of NVIDIA GeForce NOW Priority and one month of Shadow PC, which will be available in select countries until June 22 or while supplies last.
