Logitech G introduces new Racing Series steering wheels – LOGITECH G

Logitech G has renewed its family of gaming-focused products for racing simulation with new customizable Logitech G Racing Series (RS) steering wheels, made with sustainable materials and that promote continuous use during long gaming sessions.
The company has unveiled these new products at Logi PLAY 2024, an event in which it has sought to reflect its motto ‘Keep Playing’ and in which it has presented almost twenty products.
First up, Logitech G General Manager Ujesh Desi introduced the Racing Series (RS) customizable simulation product family, offering gamers “unprecedented innovation” and allows you to adjust your computer settings and equipment levels to suit your driving style.
Compatible with Pro Series racing products, this range features the Logitech G RS Wheel Hub, which pairs with any Logitech G Direct Drive base and features a locking mechanism. quick release ensuring an ultra-secure fit.
The Logitech G RS Track Wheel version is designed for long runs and combines ergonomic material with low-carbon aluminum for improved ventilation, comfort and grip.
The Logitech G RS round steering wheel has also been made “to maintain maximum control” during rapid steering wheel rotation, with silicone leather and low-carbon aluminum, promoting sustainability without compromising performance.
This section also includes the RS Shifter & Handbrake, a gear lever and handbrake designed to support all driving styles, with four versatile mounting options and a height-adjustable handlebar, among other features.
HEADPHONES AND MICE
Another of the products presented at Logi PLAY 2024 is the Astro A50 Gen 5 headphones, which incorporate PlaySync Audio and maintain the same architecture as the A50X model, although with optimized functions.
Thanks to this audio system, users can connect up to three gaming systems simultaneously (with platforms such as Xbox Series X|S, PS5 or PC, among others) via USB-C. It also comes with Pro-G Graphene Audio Drivers and 24-bit Lightspeed wireless performance.
With built-in 7-core DSP processing and extended microphone resolution – with 48 kHz resolution – it allows for equalization adjustment and transmission quality, as well as managing ambient noise with a system that reduces it.
In another part of the presentation, the brand has unveiled the new PRO Gear series, which includes two new mice, PRO X Superlight 2 Dex and Pro 2 Lightspeedalong with a new keyboard, Pro X TKL Rapid.
The first of these comes with updated technology to support 8kHz polling, providing “ultra-fast performance with high responsiveness.” It also brings the Hero 2 sensor, for tracking with speeds of over 888 inches per second.
The other mouse, meanwhile, takes the original PRO Wireless ambidextrous gaming design “to the next level,” with improvements in fluidity and great responsiveness, as well as precise and easy adjustment, according to the brand.
Pro X TKL Rapid is Logitech G’s first magnetic analog keyboard, featuring adjustable actuation points and a quick-activation function that enables professionals to execute movements and commands with exceptional speed and precision.
This keyboard also comes with an on-the-fly configuration system so users can adjust and activate it without installing G Hub, as well as Keycontrol, which favors detailed control of the switch and trigger travel settings.
Finally, Logitech has indicated that Streamlabs will add a new feature, AI Game Highlighter, which leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make capturing and content publishing “smarter, faster and more advanced than ever before.”
Available for free this fall on STreamLabs Desktop, the system lets you compile clips into a single highlights video, import clips from previous streams, add music and transitions, and automatically generate additional highlights after the broadcast.
It has also announced a partnership with the MOMO brand to introduce two new premium steering wheels, SIM GT 320 and SIM GT-Racer 290designed to the specifications of the latest Logitech G RS Wheel Hub.
And it has announced a multi-year global partnership with Genshin Impact, which will unite both brands with a multi-year roadmap for future product collaborations. Among the first will be the Logitech G309 Lightspeed Bluetooth gaming mouse and G305 Lightspeed mice.
PRICES AND AVAILABILITY
Logitech has commented to finish off the prices of these products, with RS Shifter & Handbrake now available for 149.99 eurosRS Wheel Hub by 145.99 euros for PC and 159.99 euros in its Xbox version. RS Track Wheel and RS Round Wheel, meanwhile, will cost 89.99 euros.
Logitech Astro A50 will be sold from October for $299.99 (about 269.82 euros). However, the Pro Superlight 2 DEX is already available for purchase, starting at 179 euros and the Pro 2 Lightspeed, starting at 199 euros. 145 euros.
