Logitech G and Tencent work on a new portable console to play in the cloud

LogitechG, the gaming division of the electronics manufacturer, and Tencent Games have announced that they are collaborating on the development of a new portable console to enjoy the Cloud Gaming experience.

In this collaboration announcement Shared by Logitech, the company has indicated that this device, available later this year, “will combine Logitech G’s expertise in ‘hardware’ with Tencent Games’ expertise in ‘software’ services.”

In this way, this new portable console will support “multiple cloud gaming services”, since Logitech G and Tencent are working with the teams of Xbox CloudGaming Y Nvidia GeForce Now so players can access these titles without being connected to a console or PC.

In this writing, Logitech assures that both companies share a mutual vision of the future of games and that they are committed to ensure that the quality of the experience is combined “perfectly” with the ‘gaming’ services in the cloud.
