Almost two out of three Ciudadanos voters in 2019 would support Feijóo on 23J
On November 10, 2019, in the last general elections, Ciudadanos went from 57 deputies to 10. Despite the low parliamentary representation, there were 1.6 million votes that now seem very relevant on 23J, an appointment that he will not attend the party, now led by Patricia Guasp. In our survey this Thursday, we can outline where the 2019 voters of Ciudadanos and the rest of the formations will go. In this specific case, almost two out of three voters will now bet on Feijóo. Just over 6% of voters would now bet on Sánchez.
PP and Vox are the two parties with the highest vote fidelity in the Simple Lógica survey. For its part, Sumar’s candidacy only captures two out of three United Podemos votes in 2019, although it adds almost 9% of those who supported the PSOE. Sánchez, for his part, only retained 62% of the socialist votes of 2019, but captured almost 14% of those who supported United We Can.

Montserrat García will represent Izquierda Unida in the lists of Sumar por Madrid
The Izquierda Unida Madrid federation has chosen this Thursday its five representatives for the Sumar lists for the Madrid constituency. Montserrat García will be the party’s candidate for this candidacy and will occupy number 9 in it, after the negotiation closed with the Yolanda Díaz platform last week.
IU Madrid has also chosen Carolina Cordero, up to now a Parla councilor, as the first representative of the party on Sumar’s lists for the Senate, according to the organization in a statement. “After the presentation of this single candidacy, the primary process was completed and its ratification was voted in the Regional Coordinator of Izquierda Unida Madrid, being approved by 82% votes in favor, 10% against and 8% abstentions” , reports the party.
Cordero, current spokesman for IU Madrid, and García occupied the top positions of Izquierda Unida in the lists of the confluence with Podemos for the autonomous ones to the Community of Madrid on May 28. After the negotiation, Cordero was number two on the list and García, 9, but the candidacy was left without representation as it did not reach 5% of the votes. Until now, Montserrat García was an IU councilor in Mejorada del Campo; She is a member of the PCE and responsible for Finance of the Collegiate of Izquierda Unida Madrid.

The opinion of Neus Tomàs: “If PP and Vox add up, they agree. Now and on July 23”
The deputy director of elDiario.es, Neus Tomas, analyzes in his column this Thursday how Feijòo has removed the mask of the pacts with Vox. Although sometimes he avoids answering when asked about it, he answers for his actions, such as the recent agreement in the Valencian Community and in many other territories. He left you here some of his reflections on these agreements:
If PP and Vox add up, they agree. Now and July 23
Feijóo speaks for his facts and this time, to the surprise of many, he has been quick and without leaving room for doubt: he has no problem governing with Vox
The obligation of any democrat is to unmask these formations, but Feijóo has decided the opposite

“It is legitimate that there is debate but there must be generosity and resignations”, the phrases of Ernest Urtasun about the Sumar lists
There are only four days left before the deadline to present the lists of the parties that concur on 23J to the general elections. Podemos has been pressing since Friday for Sumar to end up incorporating Irene Montero into its lists, who was left out of the candidacy in the signed agreement. Sumar’s spokesman, Ernest Urtasun, insisted this Thursday in an interview on TVE that once the agreement is reached it is time to talk about policies. These are some of the reflections he leaves:
It is legitimate that there is a debate of people who would have liked to see Montero, or Garzón, or that IU had more starting positions. But there has to be generosity and renunciations
We have a great agreement signed by everyone, also by Podemos
We have the best candidates, the best brand, the greatest ambitions
It is positive that there is a growth that is found in the polls. There is a desire to listen to us and that we can go out and win

This is how the estimated vote of the parties has evolved month by month
In our Simple Logic survey today we can see how well the 28M results have been for the PP estimates and how the left is falling behind. However, the survey leaves a lot of interesting data that helps us to take a picture of how Spanish politics is just five weeks after 23J. One of these pieces of information is the evolution of the estimated vote of the parties in recent months. It is also the first survey in which we have Sumar and Podemos together. The coalition, according to this survey, would repeat the 2019 data from United We Can.
This is how each game has gone:

What we expect from this Tuesday: press conference by Sánchez and Feijóo travels to the Balearic Islands
We now go on to review the things that we have marked on the agenda today and the topics that will be discussed throughout this Thursday. Between movements of the parties facing 23J today we will also talk about Europe, in just two weeks Spain will assume the rotating presidency of the EU, marked by the electoral advance. This is what we have planned for today:
- Pedro Sánchez will give a press conference in Madrid on the presidency that he will assume on July 1. The president’s European agenda will mark the weeks leading up to the general elections with the question of whether after 23J it will be he or Feijóo who will preside over the EU.
- Feijóo, for his part, travels to the Balearic Islands to lead the party’s board of directors. PP and Vox are negotiating a government on the islands to succeed that of Francina Armengol. However, the first meeting ended yesterday without agreement.
- On the economic front, the ECB meets this Thursday at its regular meeting where another new rise of 0.25 points in interest rates is expected. Although this is more economic than political news, it affects us all. Yesterday the Federal Reserve halted increases due to inflation data.
For now we start with this, but do not doubt that many more things will happen during the day.

Good morning! The PP extends its advantage with the PSOE, which tries to use the pacts with Vox as a revulsion
Good morning! Here Diego Larrouy already in front of the computer to tell you about the political day from the first hour. Before beginning, it is good to recap the issues we are dealing with today to have the context of what is going to happen after this Thursday. The PP and Vox pacts and the surveys mark the news. The PP has taken a breath with the 28M elections, but the impact that the concessions to the extreme right will have in order to form governments at both the municipal and regional levels remains to be seen. We tell you the following news:
- The PP has extended its advantage with the PSOE to more than six points after dyeing the map blue during the last regional and municipal elections. Sumar, once his alliance with Podemos has been closed, is left with the results that United Podemos obtained during the last elections.
- The PSOE does not consider the elections for lost and has now embraced criticism of the PP for its pacts with the extreme right to try to achieve a revulsion in the face of 23J. The speed of the agreement of the Valencian Community and the fact that it was negotiated with a man convicted of mistreatment are weapons that the socialist leaders are using in their interventions.
- Although we are not yet aware of a government program between PP and Vox, except for a few generic axes, the future president of the Valencian Community has been making his priorities clear. The Inheritance tax, the tourist tax or the linguistic programs are indicated for this legislature.
- Nadia Calviño, who in these five years has had a more technical than political role in the Government, has established herself as Pedro Sánchez’s bodyguard. Iñigo Sáenz de Ugarte analyzes today the figure of the vice president and the retake of her political weight for the 23J campaign. She does not appear on the lists but she will be present.
With this you can start the day well. I hope you have a good day and that you come in to read us so that you can keep up to date with everything that is happening.
we started.
