Like a Dragon Gaiden will have 2 battle styles
Something interesting is that it was announced that the game will have 2 combat styles. The first is the conventional one at close range, with a bare fist, which is called the Yakuza Style.
The second is a first for the series. As you could see in the trailer from days ago, Kiryu will be able to use a kind of whip that will have many functions, such as pulling, throwing, and hitting enemies. This will be possible thanks to the Agent Style, which will allow the player to use a large number of objects to combat large groups of enemies, such as drones and even an exploding cigarette.
Regarding history, those responsible for the project confirmed that the events of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will take place 3 years after Yakuza 6.
