Lies of P continues to steal the attention of fans for the soulsborne-style proposal that it will offer. The game was recently shown behind closed doors at gamescom 2022 and today the company finally shared the lengthy demo with all fans and removed a curious element that made it the target of ridicule.

The developer Round8 Studio and the distributor NEOWIZ have just published a long gameplay that reveals 40 minutes of combat, environment, characters and game mechanics of Lies of P.

The trailer includes routine combat, but it is also possible to see imposing bosses that will try to cut the path of the protagonist, such as the incredible Scrapped Watchman automaton boss.

Lies of P omitted something that caused mockery among fans

Among the enemies that the protagonist faced in the demo was the Mad Donkey, a character that drew a lot of attention days ago.

As we mentioned, this enemy was the cause of the jokes that were made at the expense of the game, since his voice was out of sync with the seriousness that the game projected.

Clearly, the lines of dialogue will be with the character, but not with the intonation seen in previous gameplay. The studio came out to clear it up after fans got confused. The game makers didn’t settle for the explanation, instead opting to remove the interim voice acting, so you won’t be able to hear Mad Donkey’s memorable line in the new gameplay.

Then we leave you with the 40 minutes of gameplay.

In case you missed it: you will need a PC with these specifications if you want to play Lies of P.
