A camera at the scene recorded the van carrying Geoff entering the cemetery and, minutes later, witnessed his departure.

According to the source, this would be the last time Geoff would be able to see Liam’s body before his return to the UK. Until this Monday, the exact date on which the musician’s body will be delivered to his family or transferred to Europe had not been reported.

Liam Payne, former member of the musical band One Direction, lost his life in October after falling from a balcony of a hotel in the Palermo neighborhood of the Argentine capital. Authorities previously said they would release his remains once appropriate examinations related to the investigation into his death have been completed.
