LG has expanded its catalog of UltraGear gaming monitors with a new model with 5K resolution that supports folding the screen to go from a flat format to a curved one, and an ‘all-in-one’ device with WebOS operating system to access streaming services.
The technology company will be present at the CES 2025 fair in Las Vegas (United States), where it will show the new models of high-end monitors designed for video games, belonging to the UltraGear GX9 series.
All GX9 series monitors feature WOLED panels, which reproduce “high brightness, authentic blacks, impressive colors”, in a curved screen format. They also have certification by low blue light emissionsand an anti-glare and low-reflection finish, as reported in a statement.
This series includes model 45GX990A45 inches, 21:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 5K2K (5,120 x 2,160). LG has highlighted the flexible panel of this monitor, which allows you to pass from a flat screen to a curved screen (900R).
There are also another version without flexible panel (45GX950A), which offers an 800R curved screen. It shares dual-mode functionality with its sibling with eight customizable settings and supports DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90W Power Delivery.
These two monitors are joined the UltraGear model 39GX90SA, an ‘all-in-one’ that “works as a home entertainment center” thanks to the webOS operating system, which allows access to streaming services without a PC or a decoder.
This 39-inch device also offers a curved screen (800R) and a 21:9 aspect ratio, and has USB Type-C ports.
