LG Electronics Spain and Club Atlético de Madrid join forces to create a “new era of sports spectacle” at the Cívitas Metropolitano stadium, which will have 2,000 square meters of custom-designed screens equipped with the technology company’s latest high-performance LED technologies.

The project, presented this Tuesday at the Madrid team’s stadium, seeks to offer visitors “an immersive sensory experience inside and outside the venue.” The jewel in the crown will be the ‘Sky Ribbon’, an elliptical LED screen made up of 400 meters of flexible mesh with a brightness of 7,500 nits, that will crown the Cívitas Metropolitano, creating a 360 degree visual spectacle.

“This alliance goes beyond a simple commercial agreement,” says Jaime de Jaraíz, president and CEO of LG Spain. “Is the union of two entities that share the same vision of the world, where technology and passion merge to create extraordinary experiences. “Together, we will demonstrate that we share the values ​​that inspire our ‘Life’s Good’ philosophy, which affirms that life can be wonderful, especially when it is lived with intensity and emotion,” he added.

For his part, Enrique Cerezo, president of Club Atlético de Madrid, has pointed out that LG technology will allow them to connect with fans “in a completely new way.”, creating an immersive atmosphere that will make each match an unforgettable experience”and emphasizes that Atlético de Madrid always seeks to “be at the forefront, both on and off the field.”
