The Lebanese authorities reported this Saturday that more than 3,100 people have died in the country, victims of attacks by the Israeli Armed Forces since the beginning of the Israeli military offensive against Hezbollah.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health has detailed that a total of 3,136 people have died to date, while another 13,979 have been injured. The attacks by the Israeli Army have left 19 dead and another 91 injured in just the last 24 hours, according to the latest report.
The victims of the last 24 hours are distributed in the Southern governorate, located in the southwest of Lebanon and where eight people have died and another 49 have been injured; the governorate of Nabatiye, which has seven dead and 37 injured; the Becá governorate, in the east of the country, where four people have died and three others have been injured; and in the governorate of Baalbek-Hemel, where there are two injured.
In total, according to data provided by the Lebanese health authorities on their social networks, the majority of the victims of Israeli attacks over the last year are men (more than 2,250 dead and more than 10,896 injured); 618 women have died, as well as another 194 children.
Lebanon’s health system has 180 dead and 306 injured due to bombings that have destroyed almost 250 medical vehicles and demolished 87 outpatient centers and 40 hospitals.
